The energy consumption performance of electronic and electrical products has attracted more and more attention of ordinary consumers. The requirements of energy consumption of electronic and electrical products are very certified all over the world. Shenzhen Amber has a close relationship with Australian Testing and Certification Institute TCA.
The Australian government's energy requirements include energy consumption labeling and minimum energy consumption standards (MEPS).
All the following electronic products sold in Australia are mandatory to be sold with energy consumption labels:
* Refrigerator and Ice Making Machine
* Washing machine
* Dryer
* dishwasher
* Air conditioning (single-phase compulsion, three-phase voluntary)
The following products also need to be regulated on the basis of the Minimum Energy Consumption Standard (MEPS) - which specifies their minimum energy consumption levels:
* Refrigerators and Ice Making Machines (implemented on 1 October 1999, revised on 1 January 2005)
* Main Pressure Storage Electric Water Heater (from 1 October 1999)
* Small main-voltage storage electric water heater (< 80L) and low-pressure heat exchange type (implemented on October 1, 2005) (refer to the limits and test methods in AGO)
* Three-phase motor (0.73 kW to < 185 kW) (implemented on October 1, 2001, revised in April 2006)
* Single-phase air conditioning (implemented on October 1, 2004, revised on April 1, 2006, 2007 and 2008, respectively)
* Three-phase air conditioning with refrigeration power of 65 kW (implemented on October 1, 2001 and revised on October 1, 2007)
* Straight-tube fluorescent lamp ballast (from 1 March 2003). Note that besides MEPS, the ballast also needs to indicate the efficiency index (EEI).
* Straight tube fluorescent lamp - containing 550 mm to 1500 mm and lighting power greater than 16 W (implemented on October 1, 2004)
* Distribution Transformer - 11 KV and 22 KV grades 10 KA to 2.5 MV (implemented on 1 October 2004)
* Commercial refrigerators (self-contained and remote control systems) (implemented on 1 October 2004)
Although the following products have not yet been listed in the mandatory management catalogue, in the near future, they must conform to the energy consumption standards and obtain certification, and some of them have been executed on certain dates.
* External power supply (implemented on October 1, 2008);
* Set-top box (implemented on October 1, 2008);
* Television;
* Home Entertainment Equipment: (Audio and Video Equipment) (implemented on October 1, 2008);
* Cold and hot water dispenser;
* Vending Machine;
* Commercial ice maker;
* Lamp tube series;
