The Ministry of industry and Commerce of the Republic of Zimbabwe awards the contract of conformity inspection (CBCA) of the international inspection group. This conformity certification and customs valuation program means that:
- reduce dangerous and substandard products import to Zimbabwe
- raising tariffs
- provide certificate of conformity for the products to be exported to Zimbabwe prior to the origin and shipment
- ensuring the protection of consumers and industries in Zimbabwe;
- achieving fair competition
- the CBCA project combines conformity certification and customs valuation through the identification of test results / meeting the minimum reliability standards to avoid unnecessary re inspection,

CBCA certification process:
(1) customer service instruction: fill out application form, packing list, commercial invoice, test report, ISO 9001 certificate (if any)
(2) audit data and submit applications,
(3) send a notice of payment one day before the inspection and arrange the inspection time
(4) arrange the inspection until the customer's products pass the inspection
(5) the final packing data shall be submitted after the inspection has been completed so as to enable the issuing of the certificate
