Morocco COC certification
On December 16, 2019, the Moroccan Ministry of Industry, Trade, Green and Digital Economy issued an announcement on the newly implemented VOC compliance certification program that will be implemented on February 1, 2020. VOC certification is applicable to products imported into Morocco. The new Moroccan plan is to implement Law No. 24-09 related to product and service safety, supplemented by Decree No. 30. Decree No. 02-212 3873-13.
The Moroccan VOC certification program requires traders to issue certificates of conformity for all consignments of controlled products entering the Kingdom of Morocco through an authorized certification body for smooth customs clearance.
Products that are regulated within the framework of the conformity verification program can be obtained from the Minister of Industry, Trade, Green and Digital Economy's list of regulated products: List of CP/CM certified industrial products exported to Morocco
This is part of Morocco's continuous efforts to ensure product compliance and quality by complying with national technical standards and regulations, thereby protecting consumers from unsafe and substandard products.

At present, the Moroccan COC certificate is divided into two types: domestic testing and Moroccan local testing.
