The CTN number needs to be indicated on the bill of lading.
1. Documents required for handling CTN:
1).BL bill of lading (first use the bill of lading format, after the number is assigned, provide a scanned copy of the original bill of lading with the CTN number)
2).Customs declaration Customs declaration or customs pre-recorded (with bar code in the upper right corner)
3).Commercial Invoice Commercial Invoice Stamp Seal (for destination port clearance)
4).Packing List Packing List Stamped Parts (for destination port clearance)

2.Processing process
1). Fill in the application form for the attachment
2). Provide the required documents
3). After the audit document has no problem, I will make a bill for your company to arrange payment.
4). After receiving the payment, we will arrange for a herbal confirmation.
5). After the CTN herb is confirmed, the number can be assigned. After the number is added to the product name column on the bill of lading, the scanned copy of the original bill of lading is provided and the CTN is finally approved.
6). The requirement is to display the CTN number on the bill of lading and add it to the shipping company's manifest.
7). Special Note: The Ghana CTN regulations must be completed within 7 natural days from the beginning of the CTN Herb Confirmation to the final approval. Overdue will result in the invalidation of the number and may result in a fine.
That is: there is no provision for when to start the process, but if you start the CTN herbal confirmation, you must complete the approval of the certificate within 7 natural days.
Therefore, it is generally recommended to apply the CTN number before the issuance of the bill of lading to avoid the bill of lading change.
8).
