1.what is Iraq's COC certification?
According to Iraqi law No. fifty-fourth third chapter eighth, the Iraqi central organization for standardization and quality control (COSQC), will be imported before the implementation of inspection, testing and certification scheme (ICIGI), designed to limit does not meet the standards, import fake and shoddy products to Iraq, and protect its domestic producers, consumers, environment and public safety. The central organization for quality control in Iraq (COSQC) has exported, exported, tested, tested, tested and issued programmes (ICIGI) for export to iraq. The project will begin on May 1, 2011. All the inspection, testing and certification program in Iraq before the import (ICIGI) control within the scope of products imported into Iraq must be accompanied by the certificate of conformity with Certificate of Conformity (CoC) or Fanghuo (Release Note) notice. The certificate of conformity is the document required for customs clearance, and is used for the customs clearance of the goods in iraq.
Please note：Iraq’s VOC inspection will start on May 2nd, 2018, and all products exported to northern/ southern Iraq will be fully restored to mandatory inspection.
2.which products need to be certified in Iraq COC?
1) toys: Children's toys, crayons, watercolors and modeling clay, etc..
2) electrical and electronic products, household appliances and electronic products, household appliances installation accessories (switch, plug, socket, adapter, wiring board); battery (batteries, batteries); household lamps (energy-saving lamp, fluorescent lamp, tungsten lamp, wire and cable (PVC); insulation rated voltage 450V/750V, Rated 600, voltage 1000V cable); household lamp machinery accessories (starter, ballast); household heating element and electric thermostatic water storage type electric water heater; telephone cables; evaporation type air cooler and its electronic parts (motor, pump etc.).

4) construction products: cement; galvanized steel; general engineering Aluminum Alloy column line - tubes, rods, profiles for carbon steel bars; reinforced concrete; structural steel; welded steel pipe with steel and concrete; galvanized steel and ductile iron pipes and fittings; building bricks; taps and valves (take the faucet, stop public service valve and mixing valves); plastic pipes, pipe fittings, fittings and joints.

Note: the new provisions of all products exported to Iraq for the COC certificate within the scope of control, an PSI certificate is not within the scope of control.
3.Iraq COC process:
1, application materials:
1) packing list and commercial invoice
2) product test report: issued by the third party laboratory with ISO/IEC17025 CNAS qualification, and also can accept the factory ISO9001+ internal test report (see the name of commodity), except for sampling test.
3) COC application form: blank application form is provided by the management institution

2. arrange inspection:
1) audit documents: about 2 working days or so, after the audit OK, please confirm with us inspection requirements (marks), so as to avoid unnecessary trouble during inspection.
2) inspection requirements (mark): General outer packing and products need to be printed with the following labels, the specific content of the actual product shall prevail:

The main product inspection and packaging are above label content, can use adhesive paste.
3) confirm the inspection time and place: usually in the inspection requirements confirmed no problem within one week after inspection, in the cabinet before, without supervision.
Note：
A. after completing the on-site inspection, the inspector shall fill in the detailed inspection report immediately, indicating the problems found in the inspection and suggestions for rectification, etc., and leave a copy to the exporter. Each discrepancy reported in the discrepancy report should be immediately communicated to the exporter in order to attract its attention.
B. on-site inspection of the finished product does not mean that the conformity assessment process has been completed. The final conformity of the product shall be made by a comprehensive evaluation of the site inspection report, test report and relevant quality documents by the inspector.
