The Tanzania National Bureau of standards (TBS), a compliance assessment program (PVOC), implemented and implemented in February 1, 2012, belongs to preshipment inspection. All products listed in the Tanzania control directory will need to apply for COC (Certificate of Conformity) before shipment, otherwise they will not be cleared at destination port. Unlike the previous shipment inspection in Tanzania, the Tanzania COC had to apply before shipment. Once the goods had been out of Hong Kong, they would not be able to supplement the COC. In addition, Tanzania COC also need to submit product testing reports and other information, first file review, audit through arrangements before shipment inspection and obtain COC certificate.
Authentication approach
(1) Route A, certificate validity: 3 months

2 consecutive qualified Route A tests must be performed
Products that cannot be registered:
(1) sugar;
(2) grain (Gu Wu)
(3) legumes;
(4) fertilizer
(5) animal and fishery products (fresh and frozen);
(6) fresh dairy products;
(7) fresh gardening products (flowers);
(8) used goods (used goods)
How to apply for a registration card?:
Submit a complete RFC, including product information (type, brand, specification, size, quantity, electrical parameter, etc.), product test report.
Registration requirements:
The first 4 bits of the HS Code must be the same in the registration card.
Review the registration information every 6 months (confirm if the product test report continues to be valid)

Inspection requirements:
Field inspection must be arranged for the first time.
Once the registration card has been used for the first time, check it every 3 months
(three) Route C, permit system, valid for 1 years
Acceptance conditions:
Only applicable to the manufacturer and the manufacturer must certify that the manufacturing process has a quality management system. The production process is to be reviewed and the product license is authorized.
How to apply for a registration card?:
Submit a complete letter of approval RFC, including product information (type, brand, specification, size, quantity, technical parameter, electrical parameters, instructions for use, etc.), product test report.
First and periodic factory audits are required.
Note: the permit shall be accepted and issued by the group inspection company.

Note: the COC certificate issued by TBS can be modified without the approval of TBS. Once the certificate has been audited, it shall not be modified.
