The new directive, 2011/65/EU (ROHS 2), replaces the new 2002/95/EC directive and will take effect 20 days later (July 21, 2011). Here in the "effect" refers to the RoHS2.0 directive on the EU Member States will take effect from July 21, 2011, each member must complete the RoHS2.0 instruction conversion can each member internal regulations in July 21, 2011 to January 2, 2013 period of time!
Now that the RoHS test is changed from 6 to 10, there are still a lot of people who are vague about RoHS and RoHS2.0.
