Noise, CE certification, development, update process
The noise emission directive for outdoor equipment was promulgated by the European Parliament and the European Union in July 3, 2000, directive No. 2000/14/EC. The purpose of the directive is to coordinate the national standards of member countries on the setting of noise emission limits, as well as the product labeling requirements during the production phase.
Starting in January 3, 2002, all outdoor equipment that has been marketed or put into use must meet the requirements of the directive. After January 3, 2002, any product that does not meet the instruction requirements will be prohibited from being sold or recalled in the EU market.
In October 29, 2010, the EU held in Brussels for the theme of "Towards a greater awareness of low-noise outdoor machinery" noise seminar, in order to improve the protection of the environment noise, the development of low noise machinery market, experts and representatives of EU governments and the noise field of attending the meeting agreed to 57 products prescribed Noise Directive 2001/14/EC twelfth and the thirteenth chapter the noise must be fully meet the requirements of the directive, it can be put into the EU market sale and use.
Noise CE certification directive - Requirements

This directive applies to the need for noise emission measures and the installation of 57 types of outdoor equipment to display noise level labels on each machine. In addition, the directive sets the noise limit for 22 of the 57 types of noise, and requires an EU announcement body for equipment with a noise margin.
